Terminologies Standards

Terminology Registry provides flexible management of coding systems in a manner seemed fit by the authorities (even defining their own source). However, we believe, defining own coding system and source should be the last option. This is because there are already well established standards, adaptation of which will help in interoperability across diverse systems. A standard Reference Terminology is a formal terminology created and maintained by a sanctioned Standards Development Organization (SDO).
